Our order cut off for all delivery services is 3pm (uk time). Orders placed after this time will be treated as being placed the next working day.
We try our best to accommodate and be as flexible as possible with our deliveries. Please email us if you have any specific requirements - email@example.com.
Working days are defined as Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays and public holidays. Therefore any orders made on a bank holiday will be processed the next working day.
All of our orders require a signature upon delivery. Large items will require access to be ready for the date of delivery although will mainly be delivered by pallet which will be delivered to your door and not inside the property. It is advised for you to organise assistance for larger items to be moved off the pallet into your home. If the delivery arrives and it is an unsuitable date/time please refuse it and ask the driver to re-deliver at a more suitable date where you have enough time to check for damages whilst the courier is present. Your order will be delivered to your doorstep at ground floor level only. The driver will not unload the pallet when delivering. If you do not wish to keep the pallet please ask the delivery driver as soon as he arrives to take this away when he/she leaves . Once they have left they can not re-visit to collect the pallet.
All delivery timescales are approximate 5- 7 working days. On the day of delivery the timeslot is from 9am-6pm, however your telephone number will be passed onto the courier so they can contact you. Some items may state a different delivery time which is displayed in the product description of that item, if you require to fast track the delivery on such items please email us for the Fast Track delivery quote. Please note our first suggested date for delivery will be within the timescales advertised. If you are not available on this date we will then raise another date, this may be outside the timescales advertised although we can not be held liable for our customers non-availability for accepting deliveries.
Some items including some lighting and furniture are made to order and therefore may incur small delays. If there are any major delays in shipping you will be contacted.
Forever Furnishings also deliver to Ireland and Northern Ireland,Channel Islands, Scotland, Highlands and Scotland Islands although our free shipping offer does not apply. You will only pay delivery for the largest item all other items on your order will be covered by the one off shipping fee.
Usual shipping fees are as follows:
Small Items + £16.00 ( picture frames, cushions, bedding)
Medium Items + £22.00 (vases, lamps, lights)
Large Items + £45.00 (bedside table, Large Mirrors)
Extra Large Items + £59.00 (chests, coffee tables, wardrobes, XL mirrors)
Orders over £550 qualify for free shipping to Ireland/ N. Ireland
(please allow a further 7-10 days on all delivery estimates of the products you are ordering, please note your order will not be dispatched if you fail to pay the additional shipping fee for N.Ireland/ Ireland deliveries )
This will not be charged at checkout, although a separate invoice (with a payment link)will be sent to you after completing the purchase to cover the delivery cost. Please allow a further 5-7 working days for all off shore deliveries such as Isle of white, Isle of Man and The Channel Islands. Please note channel island delivery charges may vary slightly ( due to delivery methods available) although a quote will be emailed over for our customers to confirm.
Forever Furnishings ship items throughout USA via pallet. The cost for such pallet deliveries range from £365 -£995 depending on which item has been ordered. Smaller items have an average shipping cost of £60 although you can contact our team on email@example.com for a quote before purchasing. Please allow an extra 2-3 weeks on all orders for USA delivery. Please be aware shipping charges are non-refundable in the event you wish to return your item. Orders over £2500 will have FREE shipping to USA addresses.
Forever Furnishings also deliver to the majority of European countries . All orders to such countries will incur an additional 7 -14 working days on the delivery timescales advertised . If you fail to select the correct shipping method at checkout we will contact you with the correct rate. If you require assistance with a European Delivery please contact us.
Missed Deliveries for Large Items
If you have confirmed your delivery booking in writing with one of our members of staff and fail to be in to accept the delivery as scheduled, a £10 re-delivery charge will be payable. This is for UK mainland orders and an invoice with a payment link will be sent before a second delivery attempt is made. If you notify us the morning (or before) of the delivery that you can not be in, we will cancel the delivery for a more suitable day without charge.
If your package arrives and the box is damaged, please check the contents before signing. Any damages after this cannot be claimed. Contents are advised to be checked before signing as if we are notified of damage after this we can not accept a return. If another person is accepting the delivery on your behalf they must adhere to the same procedure.
